Almost every nation in the series has been invaded by either Noxians or barbarians. Noxians are usually the invaders, but I don't think any human group has tried to take over Bilgewater. Is it because of the Harrowing?
Its probably more likely because Bilgewater doesnt function like any other country. If they were being invaded by a superior force they couldnt defeat, they would probably just leave. Theyre pirates and outlaws for the most part. They just hop on their ship and roll out. Another reason, possibly, is that no nations navy could probably take bilgewater's as a combined force. Im sure if they teamed up it would be formidable.
