Can we get new splash arts in higher resolutions?

At the moment when a new skin comes out, we can only access it in a small resolution. I assume that's because that is what is used inside the client. Most artists that I know tend to create stuff in big resolutions (sometimes upwards of 4k). If this is true for you guys, is there any chance we could get our hands on some of those larger splashes?

For example the new omega squad teemo skin: http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Teemo_8.jpg

This isn't even 1080p, so wouldn't even fit on a normal sized monitor background without stretching. Personally, I use a 1440p monitor, so this would look even worse If i tried to use it as my desktop background.

Thanks for reading.

Even 1080p is archaic; when it became standard most PC monitors were 1920x1200, 2560x1600, or 2560x1440, it was a downgrade. 16:9 became standard so 1080p stuck for low end monitors but 2560x1440 didn't go anywhere as it was still 16:9 and now 3840x2160 is relatively common too.

I was using 1920x1200 10 years ago and have had a 2560x1440 (10b) AH-IPS for a long time now. I don't know why companies like Riot insist on making everything low resolution and low quality as possible, always the bare minimum. This especially applies to the loading screen art, they decided to use some sort of fucked up compression on those it seems and now the new ones (for over a year?) have been released as heavily artifacted, completely screwed up.

The problem is that no one really gives a shit about visual quality until it becomes absolutely intolerable to even a pleb, so no one complains. I asked one of Riot's artists about the super fucked up splash arts when they started doing that, he ignored my question and answered everyone else. Thanks Riot, high quality and high class as always.

There must be somewhere these are posted in better resolutions. I mean, there MUST be, right?
