Fan-made lore and it's relevancy.

So I've been churning the thought of writing out my own lore for Ekko since I saw that Riot doesn't want to give him anything solid. But I must ask, what is the community's general outlook on fan-made lore for champions like this?

I ask this because if I know that at least some will go over and read a wall of text for lore that I write then I find it worth while. If not then I think i'm just wasting time.

I'd say give it a try at the very least. I've done a similar thing recently with the Shuriman champions and event, and I'll continue to write just because its fun for me and I love getting my ideas in words. Apparently, though, the Story & Art boards frown upon fan fictions and the like, so if you have some other outlet, try it there too. I think the community is pretty open to this sort of thing, kinda like champion concepts and other community creations. Though the 'wall of text' you refer to may put some people off, but you never know.

It seems that the guidelines here on the boards say "DO NOT post fan-fiction or roleplaying discussions." I believe this is done for legal reasons (although I'm not sure), the idea is that if any lore Riot is writing appears to be similar it could cause legal trouble for them. If you're going to do this, you may want to post it somewhere other than the boards.
