Camille's haughtiness makes her a total bitch, Caitlyn's whole "toss her overboard, I don't care" thing in Progress Day makes her a bit less likable (even if she just caught a Noxian spy), etc. I get the feeling that Piltover's roster (besides Vi and Jinx) is going to be full of jerkass characters.
Intended? Or is Progress Day an incomplete depiction of Caitlyn's personality?
Considering what Noxus does, I can't say I really disagree with how Caitlyn acted. If anything she was merciful by letting her leave Piltover alive.
She had all the evidence she needed to justify an execution. But she didn't. She instead sent what she believed was a warning to Noxus.
"I will find you, but I won't kill you. I'll let you return in shame with the knowledge that you failed hanging around your neck."
Well I mean Progress Day doesn't give us Caitlyn's perspective, so yeah I'd say it's incomplete. She comes off more as calculating and uncaring than a jerkass to me from that depiction, but hopefully her bio and short story will give further insight.
On a slightly related note I'm DYING to see what Orianna's short story looks like. I hope they put Jellbug on her.

I feel the same way. It was different before, when the characters were just enthusiastic about their positions. But Piltover seems to be a land of snobs and pretentious assholes.
Here's hoping they keep Jayce a bright, forward thinking-type with a positive attitude and not another cold, dick-like, everyone-else-is-stupid-but-me attitude.
We haven't seen much of Caitlyn to downright decide whether she is an uptight snob. She just seems to be very strict, and unlike Camille, she acts like she has a stick up her ass because she has to. She's a female in a position of power, and a sheriff at that. Nobody would respect her if she was nice and sweet to everyone. She needs to be Strict and sure about herself, or else she'll be destroyed as a result.
