At what point should we even hope for Kayle/Morgana lore updates?

I know a lot of people are afraid that Kayle and Morgana will get their characters ruined if they are given lore retcons, but I for one am more interested as to when to expect such a thing. Presently, we are at the point where we can assume it might be a big fat "NEVER".

Between looking at Morgana's extremely outdated model and listening to her extremely outdated VO lines, I'd like for our Fallen Angel to see changes in the future. Preferably the near future.

Can we get some insight on this? Or is it "too soon"?

I think Morgana is going to get a VU at some point and she'll probably gets a lore-retcon at that time(and kayle probably too to go along with it).

I've read that they think about splitting morganas skirt,but I hope that does not happen. I mean sure,you can do lots of things with a split skirt,but there are some things that can be done only with a skirt that is not splitted too. And seeing how Morgana is basically the only champ who has a skirt like this,it would kinda decrease the variety(ok there is also sona,but it is still a bit different and she floats so she doesn't count :P)

Don't worry, they're getting lore changes next year in the Bilgewater event, where they're retconned to being pirates with bird themes.

The problem with their lore is that they're tied to the League. The summoners and IoW are why they're in Runeterra.

With Victorious Morgana coming out, she probably will be getting something soon. At least IMO.

I think their lore is fine the way it is. Morg though probably won't be looked at till they get her VU, since she could use a bit of a touch up there.
