This skin looks gorgeous. The splash art is great. The recall animation is amazing.
Then Udyr moves and auto-attack, and he is so blocky it's ridiculously hilarious.
Udyr isn't getting a VGU anytime soon, so please, give him at least a small animation update like you did with Jax.

His auto attack animation is actually laughable.
He got a new running animation for this skin, so that's something at least. But yea the rest of it is just so ughhh when you see such a great skin come out.
I know Udyr has a reputation when it comes to his animations, but this skin looks interesting, based on the thumbnail. It can't really be that bad, can it?

I stand corrected. The animations make it nearly impossible to take the skin seriously. It's honestly ridiculous. It's a good-looking skin, but those animations just don't work with it.

None of you guys truly understand. This is all just a business move. Riot isn't giving him a VU because then people won't buy Spirit Guardian Udyr, which is the only skin that gives smooth animations. Updating his animations would lose them a lot of money. They're only giving him this skin as a budget Spirit Guardian and because he hasn't gotten a skin in 5 years.

I feel like that's part of a plan some Rioters have. The crappy animations are going to make people who would buy it, not buy it. Now they can go "Oh, we made a really good skin for Udyr, who hadn't had a skin in a long time, but no one bought it. It's loud and clear that the community doesn't want skins for these champions, so from now on we will only focus on our popular champions. Remember, it's your fault that old champions won't get anymore skins :)"
Much like most people say here; The skin itself and the concept of it looks great, but Udyr's current animations make it seem very underwhelming.
I actually hope Udyr gets a VGU because my god are his abilities terrible. He just in the state that old poppy was in, where he had been really gutted of any power and thrown aside until they eventually fix him. Although to be honest, that's a lot of champions right now.
They should make a big animation overhaul on older champions like udyr

Gonna play Devil Advocate here and say, forms 1 - 3 are passable and not really all the awful in my honest opinion.
In fact I think Tiger Stance actually looks kind of cool with the quick jab style animation..
Pheonix stance is just outright laughable though.

Need to have it match spirit guard udyr because on that skin he has specific animations for each stance attack and different way of standing.
Just give him Spirit Guard Udyr's autoattack animations it's not fucking hard. This is a gorgeous skin ruined by his actually HILARIOUS little boops.
