Think about it. Icathia is obviously a reference to Lovecraft's "The Nameless City". And what was the Nameless City populated with? Tiny humanoids.
It would also explain Amumu. And the yordles' penchant for technology.

YumaS2Astral1 votesIt's importante to note that Bandle City is located just south of Icathia, and the only thing separating the yordles from Shurima is a chain of mountains. It may be safe to assume that Icathia was a city populated by yordles, that was then dominated by Void energy for some reason. Then the yordles fled to the south, built a new city (which is Bandle City nowadays) and Icathia was left in ruins, now dominated by Voidborns instead of Yordles.
