Strongest ADC lore wise?

It depends on the relative power of magic to guns. Something we really can't say. Now, Caitlyn's rifle has 3 magnification sights which only makes sense to have if she can use it. So we're looking at a weapon that has the accuracy and range needed that such sights would actually be useful. So we're looking at a minimum of WWI - WWII era weaponry here.

This give a range of about 500-600 meters minimum. So, is that enough to kill Ezreal before he can kill her? Presuming she's actually a good sniper and has the patience and skills to not get seen first. Same with Varus and Kog'maw really. If Caitlyn is actually good enough with that rifle and it can kill a guy in 1 shot, then she's the theoretical most dangerous adc there.

If the weird corrupting magic of Varus or Void creatures can't be shot in the head dead, then her relative power drops dramatically.

It's been awhile since I've read it, but if I remember correctly the creatures from the Shadow Isle can be fought with conventional weapons. And, well, spears range don't really compare, meaning I'd take Cait over Kalista as well.

But this is of course assuming conditions that are extremely favorable to Cait: She has the range and the perch to attack her opponent. If we're just going with putting people right next to each other and saying who's better? Cait is destroyed.

if you count him These 3 might be pretty powerful, Ezreal knows some magic stuffs, Varus' corruption is pretty scary IIRC. And Kog'Maw is a bottomless void puppy. Fear the void puppy

Ashe is blessed by the blood of Averosa and has the potential to have a ton of innate magical abilities. Her bow is also really powerful and capable of freezing someone with a few, if not one shot. However, if what corrupted Varus is as powerful as it is made out to be, Varus takes the cake by far since whatever was sealed away in that temple was obviously done so for a reason.

Lucian's kind of a wild card in all this. Given the nature of his guns, he could probably easily destroy Varus or Kalista, who would normally be top tier lore-wise.

Heck, while they couldn't destroy them, I could see Lucian's guns even causing Kindred to temporarily withdraw.

That said, given what we've seen of his battle style in lore so far, he'd be pretty easy prey for those who are more tactically inclined, so most other ADCs would smack him around.
