I say almost definitely. Riot has stated before that ChampUp and Lore teams usually work together on projects. So if a Mount Targon plot is being created, then ChampUp should've taken that opportunity to give him a VU along with the Taric Vu that will most likely be coming out with the Targon story line as well.

How did you hear Taric and Targon are together? That's new info, as far as I know. I wasn't expecting his update to have anything to do with more lore.

Shen's VU isn't going to be nearly as extensive as Taric's. That's what I meant by "huge VU". A Sion/Poppy level. I know Shen's next, I've know for a while now, but Taric's VU is the next massive scale VU coming out. After him the next VU of that scope is Yorick.

Mainly speculation, but it makes too much sense at this point when you consider how the two projects are lining up and the fact that Taric doesn't even come from anywhere.

He needs one, and I firmly believe he could benefit a reexamination of his lore. There is so much untapped potential in his relatively "flat" character.

My love of Pantheon is mostly for his fan portrayal than anything else. In league he really is a "flat" character (even if you delve into his reasons, his in game persona does not portray this. Kinda like Ahri). I really hope they make him less war and battle crazy. We already have Olaf, we don't need someone with similar motivations.

I'd rather see Pantheon as a soldier in a world of warriors.

Edit: And have Steve Blum as a new VO. But that's just a dream.

Pantheon as a consummate soldier is an appropriate assessment of his capabilities and disposition. He is the best of the best, a legend of the Rakkor who fights with dignity and respect. His select quote is "They are privileged to die at my feet," yet I do not feel it is meant to be interpreted as a boast of his prowess, though it does speak volumes of his skill, but a genuine statement. You should be honored to face Pantheon, for there is no greater gift a warrior might receive than to die at the hands of one who has lived and breathed war.

Pantheon does not treat war as an art as Aatrox does, or revels in combat like Olaf, or gorges himself on bloodshed like Renekton, he simply fights. It just so happens he is the best at what he does.

I would like to see Pantheon as kind of a mixture of the Master Chief from Halo and Guts (Pre-Griffith) from Berserk. He fights less for the Glory of the Rakkor and more because fighting is the only thing he really knows how to do, he's bred for war. Atleast that is how I would like him to be.

How do you think his relationship with the Solari and their god should be? I would like him to stay pretty disconnected so we can have a more objective point of view between the Solari and Lunari.

This is kind of off topic but I hope future lore events have some lore based skins like captain fortune and classic gangplank.

Would maybe even be a good idea for Taric or pantheon if they're big players in a targon event

I'm sure they will continue this trend. Only reason they wouldn't is if not enough people bought those skins last time, but it seemed like they were really testing the waters on that to make it a more regular thing.

I think we're going to get retconned Targon lore including the Solari, Leona, Pantheon, perhaps an updated tie-in for Diana, Taric sprinkled in big time. A legendary skin or two would also be nice.

Have no fear, If the bilgewater event was anything to go by, he is going to get the GP treatment considering the other Targon champs look more up to date than him, Though that does make an alteration to his kit a possibility. Not sure how Path mains would take the news if they did make some kit alterations to him (again, using GP as a reference to how the changes might go).
