Champ reworks: lets make 2016 "the year of horror"

Shíny··1 votes·1,347 views

2015 has been the year of mythology , at least regarding new champion releases. Bard Kindred TahmKench Kalista (Illaoi)

Once Riot gets done with what they have on their plate Taric Poppy ,

I thought an interesting direction to take would be updating (what should be) some of the more horrific members of the roster. DrMundo Chogath Warwick Yorick Urgot Teemo

Thoughts?

Teemo could use a vu not a gp update. He needs to stay the evilness he is because what would happen if teemo lost his identity of satan?

You serious?

Yorick is just a kind entity who's just misunderstood due to his appearance, he's definitely not horror worthy

Of course, he's just the kindly ol' gravedigger, any stories of him burying people alive are pure slander and it's just an old wive's tale that all his family's forefathers are bound inside the Mori family shovel, forever destined to guide yorick in his task of caring for the dead.

Hmm? soz for being rude but I really am not sure if this post is meant to be sarcastic or not. The below content is me assuming that you are.

I thought lore wise he really is just a gravedigger who buries the dead, not the alive.

The ancestors bound to the shovel is to protect the user from the horrors of the night as they dig the grave.

Yorick only got into his current state due to him not having a child to pass on the duty, hence forever cursed to shoulder all the quota for eternity.

Unless I read the lore wrong.

Sorry , thought we were doing the whole "wink wink nudge nudge" thing.

Here's a link to his judgement which expands on his character a bit: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=883037

An excerpt:

There was a time when Yorick would have questioned this, when he would have tried to identify the cadaver, speak with its family, ensure its name and some pertinent trivia were etched into its tombstone. Now he simply plunged his shovel into the soil, happy to be done with the ghost of curiosity.

With each passing shovel-full, Yorick felt a growing sense of remorse. In some ways he was enchanted by it. Emotions were the liquor of the living. As one crosses his third or fourth century of undeath, the memory of emotions becomes so faded that one wonders why he cares to remember them at all. This is where the disconnect between warmskins and the undead occurs. A gravedigger has a schedule to maintain and warmskins are just so deliriously attached to their lives, even despite decades of preparation for the inevitable. It is, after all, the inevitable.

Yorick had tried to compromise once or twice, burying people alive so they could savor their precious lives to the very last moment, but that was generally twice the headache and nobody ever appreciated his efforts.

Well I didn't know he really did bury people alive, even though it was only once or twice.

But I guess he wasn't really evil when he did that, as he was merely at lost on a few things considering he had been an undead for quite a while.

You forgot ekko when mentioning champs this year.

I was mainly just pointing out the champs that fit into this year's "year of myth" theme. Ekko was left out deliberately.

I voted no, and here is why: Riot has, excuse me, FUCKED to many of my champions already. AD Sion? Gone with the rework. Pure Tank Garen? (Was REALLY fun btw) not really viable anymore, to be honest. AP Solo Lane Morde? Was a joke when he was rework, worse now that adcs are so much better. Singed? To many anti tank items/champs Teemo? Been playing him since season 2 and he has NEVER been truly competitive viable, just fun to play. He has been nerfed at MINIMUM once a season. There are about 7 others, but you get the idea. Mundo is the only main I have left at this point who is truly viable, riot needs to stop deleting old champions from the game.

Shen rework is 2016.

You forgot the main trio of terror: Fiddlesticks Nocturne Shaco

They need new lore plus Fiddlesticks needs a Gangplank-level update, while Shaco and Nocturne needs a visual update.
