Seeing that bland tabard now hanging from her shoulder really... sickens me. Those tri-capes were an awesome design element, but you trashed them? Why on earth would you do that?
What made you think a standard tabard would be better?
I think I remember IronStylus saying (on his stream perhaps?) something like that they couldn't work with it (model-wise) because it was rigged and animated in such an odd and awful way, and I guess that they didn't want to spend more time/resources on re-rigging the model and re-animating Fiora so they just went with giving her a different type of cape (or something like that).
My guess would be that they were far less interesting once they removed the complex designs from her models and that a more traditional half-cape read far better when it only had to present one major colour on either side.
True dat. The Tri Cape was what set Fiora apart :( That and being the only Demacian to dress darkly by default.
