League needs a certified Lightning Mage

Kennen's all about lightning, though I'm not sure he necessarily plays as a mage per se.

The closest we have is , but even thats a bit of a stretch

I been saying this for years.

The lightning related champs we have are terrible and furries, Kennen, volibear.

It is an insult to the best aspect of elemental magic and the spark of life. The spell effects could be amazing.

well riot technicaly took a champion from dota 1 which is now i think called zeus in dota 2 and split him in 2 his ult is karthus's ult and the rest of his kit is like xeraths.

Two reworks ago, Ryze used to have lightning as auto attacks. His ultimate also made his spells do AoE damage, in the form of lightning bolts around the spell.

lets hope in volibears vgu. making heim melee and range for lighting.

And I have to say I am kinda surprised how many people still think that Xerath uses lightning.They changed his abilities years ago...

Although there isn't one, Xerath plays like what the kit would be. Riot seems to want very creative kits now, widening niches and modernization rather than expanding the roster with stat checks inside kits. But you know, dedicated lightning mage or electricity, yeah doesn't have a real one.
