Didn't Singed actually do justice to Riven?
She was literally a warmonger that's ruined several character's lives. Not only did she deserve what Singed did to her, it's also the only reason she has somewhat begun redeeming herself.

I feel like that's comparing America and Japan's interactions in WW2. No one's really right; everything was awful.
Singed also killed several thousand soldiers with his weaponary, friend and foe alike. I'd be careful to view him in a positive light...
You are vastly oversimplifying Riven's story
Riven was a soldier who pretty much just followed orders even if she didn't like them.
Sure she did want to fight the war,but compared to most other league champions that isn't really that dark.
By the same logic pretty much everyone who fights in a war ruins the lives of several characters.
Riven did a lot of terrible shit in Ionia, that's certainly true, but she at least felt remorse about it.
Singed sat back and relentlessly fired nukes into both allied and enemy troops, as well as civilians, because "lol i'm really into poison you guys". If anything, Singed is what Riven was terrified of becoming, someone with no honor or code of morals just indiscriminately slaughtering from far away.
Didn't Singed just supply the gas bombs?
