Is the event suppose to happen during 6.4 or is it more lickely it will take place in 6.5?

I wouldn't classify anything coming up soon as 'The Mount Targon Event,' if you have i mind things like Burning Tides last year as what qualifies for an event. There's some cool Targon-related stuff, as I hope you've enjoyed so far, but it's not what we would express as being an 'event.'

I've asked for some alignment and communication around what 'events' are to help clarify things for players. Keep an eye out for that.

are we gonna see the blank spots on the targon lore page filled in soon, or is that a left open thing for something coming down the pipeline waaaay in the future?

I can't speak specifically, but form a strategy standpoint, we likely wouldn't put up things to be filled in if there was nothing planned for a long time.

Yeah,I kind of figured this Targon update would be more like the Shadow Isles update back in October rather a Bilgewater event. Lore update for a few champs along with an update to that specific faction/region.Though Mt. Targon had a page to itself while the Shadow Isle info was spread across this bios of the updated champsc

Thanks for clearing that up, I said "event" just to generally categorize everything because I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be strictly lore, or if it would be similar to Burning tides, or other such things.

I assume you're not willing, or allowed, to share the estimated time of the release for the "event" (for lack of a better word), but when is Aurelion sol being released? haha just kidding, just kidding. But seriously, any input on if it is purely a lore and art update or "more"?

Is there a short story planned, like shadow and fire? Or is it just bios?

When I think of an event I think id the story first, as cool as the extra game mode and map were.

Whenever you guys do do more stories, the lore related bilgewater skins were also really cool, hope you do more stuff like that someday

There isn't a story, such as Shadow and Fire, to coincide with what's going on.

Aw that's a shame. Ah well, another time I suppose, since the pieces for Mount Targon are pretty solidly in place now to build in to new stories.

Also "Shadow and Fire"? You mean Shadow and Fortune right? Because if I missed some amazing League story about shadows and fire i'ma be so sodding sad.

so bad... people waited years to learn how whole Diana/Lunari and Leona/Solari story will end... you guys could tell this like month ago when people were getting more and more hyped for Mt.Targon event

Ah thanks for the clarification.

Though that does create the question: Is an 'event' planned for this year?Or just more story updates like this one?(honestly I think no event this year would be fine if it allows you to speed up the retcon)

And do you plan to give every nation a page like this?(the shadow isles kinda have that with the shadow and fortune page,if that page was changed a bit then it would actually be just like the targon page) Because honestly I really like this kind of page,it gives you a fast overview over a certain nation and its associated champions.

Called it. There is no "event" it's just an on going little story and release of a new champ ;)

that's GIGANTIC disappointment.... I hoped for some event similar to the one we had during Bilgewater one (of course without SR alternative map mode): chance to get icons by following lore quests in game client and doing tasks/missions, maybe some skins for Targonians (Diana, Panth, Leona and those 2 mysterious champs), some neat music/themes, detailed map of Mt.Targon region, etc....

it's quite HYPE killer that there won't be even no very long story just lore/bio updates. Sigh

lame.

I have no idea why Bilgewater that's place for like...5-6 champions get enormous event with tons of content but Mt.Targon that will be now place for also 5 champions won't get any badass event just some small lore updates and mini bonus content (aram skin). That's not fair specially for those who waited for Mt.Targon stuff for years.

Well there are 2 empty slots,so maybe it'll be an event over multiple patches.

Though of course it is possible that they'll simply made that page to make the lore more accessible(which would indeed be really awesome if every nation had a page like this)

Actually I'd say that 6.6.(or maybe even later)would be more likely.

It looks like they currently just updated the lores of the targon champs,so IF we get an actual targon event we'll know where it starts(this was a complain for the bilgewater event since no one knew that gangplank was confirmed to be MFs parents killer or that the circumstances of TFs betrayal have changed).

However thanks to the pbe we can be sure that the next patch will largely consist of balance changes,new skins for Khazix Leblanc Annie and probably/maybe the mastery chests and store update. Nothing of this relates to a targon update.

Many speculate that the next champ is going to be aurelion sol(he was announced to be released in the first half of the year) and its likely that he is a targonian champ,so its possible that the event will start once he gets released/announced. Tarics update is supposed to come after the next champion,he might be related to targon as well(and if aurelion is the next champ,then taric might come in the following patch)

Just give us party IP bonus and pretend that its because of that mount targon lore you put on your front page that nobody reads and then everyone will be happy about the event.

Only Written lore events (with a dash of concept art, and images of the places to flesh it out a bit more) are fine by me. We need tons of those to be precise.
