Zed's powers in pitch darkness

I will theorize no. I've always admired shadow manipulation abilities, but there is a weakness in them that most forms of fiction rarely seem to grasp. Without light, there are no shadows.

At night his powers work just fine, but in pitch darkness, I doubt his powers would work normally. It's entirely possible that his powers are not under his control when in pitch darkness, which would be incredibly terrifying for him since his entire fighting style is based around them now.

It wouldn't be safe to fight him in pitch darkness though. Unless you want to truly test out the theory. Personally I don't think the shadows want their host destroyed...yet.
