@Riot: No Ultimate Skin This Year?

So, it’s December 28th. Guess we can assume there’s no ultimate skin coming out this year. Just wanted to know if there was a particular reason why there wasn’t one this year.

Can we expect one early on next year, maybe? Or at all?

Looked through the boards and couldn’t find a topic related to this already.

If we do get a new ultimate skin next year, who do you guys think will get it? Who would you like to have it? Have ideas for ultimate skins? I’d like to know! :D

They mentioned Ultimate skins weren't going to be a yearly skin, my guess every other year

Yeah & there wasn't one in 2014 either. No one said anything about Ultimate skins being a yearly thing. They'll be out when they're ready.

Based on the release dates of the past skins, it seems that they are roughly between 1-1.5 years between, but it seems to be getting longer with each new release. The release between DJ Sona and Elemantalist Lux was the longest at about 1.75 years. Also, there was no ultimate skin released in 2014 either, since Udyr was summer of 2013 and Sona was winter 2015.

They really need to make ultimate skins a yearly thing. Even then, most champs would never see one, which just feels bad.

Ultimate Skins don't have the same value anymore since normal skins are higher quality than what they used to be, in the past the normal skins were just recolors mostly so the ultimate skins were needed more
