while I doubt that the new champ is a recycled averdrian,I could imagine him/her drawing a lot of inspiration from averdrian,like "averdrian isn't a good idea,but this champ can use the best aspects of averdrian"

Furthermore this logo HAS been used in the Harrowings of the past.

#Check out Harrowing 2012's logo around the time of Elise' release.

The spiral on the head rotates counterclockwise in both designs. Albeit, the NEW one also features an "Eye" added to the center.

Averdrian is probably what the logo is based on -and it just seems strange to keep using that design if it means "nothing" in setting.

He was a canceled champion, and easter egg was added featuring his model in a coffin, along with other canceled champs......

But recall Azir was based on sand mage Seth which they scrapped and started over on. I THINK it could emerge as a champion in the future.

I studied it before, it wasn't nothing special. That face was suppose to represent the Shadow Isles. I guess this s the new one

And you see no similarity between one bulbous head and the next?

And if it DOES represent all the shadow isles as you say................why that symbol?

That same symbol from the Old Shadow Isles Promo is on the bottom of the TT map. Representing the faction that likes their current state on the Shadow Isles. It doesn't represent all of them, rather the more malevolent spirits there. Yeah, those two share similarities. But that head also looked like the leaked champion concept. Unless Riot is actually bringing another champion, I'd say that's the one. But it's all confusing, I would think Riot had the champion said to be "Kallista" in mind, until It got leaked. Now they are changing plans. But I don't want to be sure about that either. They have schedules

I'm curious to how these things works. I assume most of the initial work when it comes to new champions, skins, and game modes are done in the Santa Montica office. So how do Riot employees feel when stuff like this is released first in areas that are not the US of A? I'm totally biased about this, but I'd totally want information and teasers like that to show up first in American sites even if it's only minutes before the rest of the world learned about it. An example would the the first time the updated Summoners Rift was shown off in video form. It was shown off in a stream by another Riot branch that didn't speak English first. I was confused about this and assumed it was a leak and that that Riot branch just did things on their own just to say, "Hey, America didn't show it off first guys." Can any Riot worker answer this for me? It's been biting me for ages.

Yet all of these reveals are done days in advance before the English version. In fact, several other languages had the new Summoner's Rift walkthrough before we had ours.

Probably has to do with twisted treeline and hexakill.
