I would really hate seeing Gatekeeper Galio using his hellish powers to... Come to his allies' rescue. It doesn't fit him at all imo

Not fitting with the theme of a skin is no criterion during the creation of a skill. And I even feel like it would fit the theme! The skin is called Gatekeeper, which means to me that Galio is guarding the gate to the underworld: letting nobody in and nobody out! Now imagine that some hellish spirit was able to get out of the underworld and terrorizes our world, than Galio would use his hellish powers, not to come to our rescue, but to imprison the evil spirit again...safing the people as a sideeffect from his duty.
Considering it's a non canon skin, it doesn't really have to.
I wouldn't really see a giant lollypop as a holy weapon that should be given to a great Demacian hero.
