Galio: Oh hello squishy bird people. I hope you like fighting!

But seriously, good luck attacking a city made out of anti magic when you yourself are magical. Guerrilla tactics can only work for so long.

This raises an interesting question: how does petricite affect magical beings? Would vastaya just slowly die near petricite as it saps away their natural power? Or does it only affect the more overt manifestations of magic?

Poppy is a magical creature, but she tends to roam Demacia's rural areas. I thought that was just because she's on a quest and all, but maybe the petricite in the big cities is harmful to her.

A Rioter (Jaredan I beleive) did mention that petrecide would be at the very least highly uncomfortable for vastaya to be around. At most I beleive they would be severely weakened around it, and even die when around it for too long.

Xayah is going to get a nasty surprise if she decides to attack Demacia.

Also, what the heck does she have against Demacia? They hate mages, they don't want mages... So that means that Vastayas can have all the magic they want.

Galio reminds me from Shale from Dragon Age: Origins. I mean their attitudes are completely different but I can't help but imagine that they share an equal hatred of those damned pigeons that keep shitting on them.

Well. I guess it depends on how petricite impacts furries vastaya. We know that it absorbs magic since that's what animated Galio. We know that it fouls spellwork without question, both the act of casting spells as well as spells already cast. What we don't know about is how it effects innately magical creatures. My gut reaction is that it would be like casting Horrid Wilting on someone in more extreme cases. Because apparently the vastaya are made of magic in about the same way that vertebrates are made of water (or so I've heard).

It doesn't take that much dehydration to kill... well... basically anything that isn't a waterbear. So following that line of reasoning, I suspect the vastaya would be exceedingly vulnerable to any magic-draining effect. To that end, I can't imagine them doing that great in a place like Demacia. It would be like watching a sea-sponge trying to roll across Death Valley. After all, nature abhors an imbalance. High concentrations of anything will equalize with their surroundings if left to themselves.
