Demacia Campaign

Looking through the sketches of the cards art in the Six More Vodka page, we can find the early versions of many of the final cards, and some of which that we never saw a final version. Like the one above, called Demacia Campaign.

What called my attention, is that is in company of and their aunt Tianna clearly in Demacia, but she is holding her staff. The staff that was given to her by another mage after leaving her home and status to live as an outlaw, helping other mages.

At first, I simply thought that this one was left out because it simply contradicted canon. But then other possibilities came to my mind. Maybe this art simply belongs to the cards they want to launch after LOR release, as part of their wave of increasing content for the game. Is this was the case, it is possible that this image is actually canon, and simply belongs to a later state of it. Maybe this is set after the events of the novella about Demacia they announced, that would let us in a setting where and his rebellion have been dealt with, has overcome the grief for his father's death and his hate of mages, and now can walk more freely using her magic among a more just Demacia.

Or maybe I'm overthinking it. That's more probably it. But still, is a theory I'm willing to entertain as long as the spine of "For Demacia" no longer fitting correctly into canon keeps bugging me. But what do you guys think?
