Everyone talking about Star Guardian, meanwhile Kha'Zix gets a story

And it's not told from his perspective, instead told from Rengar's point of view. And again, it focuses on Kha'Zix's clash with Rengar. I mean c'mon!

Don't get me wrong it was an exciting and entertaining read, but really Riot. Give me something more. I want an actual view into how Kha'Zix thinks and sees the world. I want to read as the void bug challenges a terrifying apex beast, intent on doing or dying for the sake of pushing himself to further evolution.

I know for the sake of gameplay it's probably difficult to write Kha meaningfully- he's driven to grow and evolve, but you can't change him too much in comparison to Kha'Zix the champion- but that doesn't mean you should constantly leave him in the dust. Surely you can do something with him. For example is he outright evil and malicious, or simply driven by an unyielding instinct? Has his constant feasting on and learning from Runterran inhabitants had any effect on his view of the world? What is his role and hierarchy amongst the Voidborn? What is his deeper personality? Does he even have one?

I'm a Kha main and I'm sitting here asking all these questions, practically salivating for any opportunity to really learn about my favorite champion as a character. But so far the only thing we know about Kha'Zix is the only thing we've known about him since his release; he fought with Rengar, took his eye, and seeks to evolve.

Please Riot, step out of the rut already and give us more on our favorite Voidreaver!

Ehhhh...the thing about Rengar and Khazix and such, I believe Blaustoise covered in his champion insights video. People just don't like monsters. I can't really relate to Khazix (or Rengar), can't empathize or sympathize with them. In my case, I feel like the eight deadly words apply.

I don't care what happens to these characters.

More Khazix/Rengar lore would be some nice flavor text, but they definitely don't evoke sympathy and empathy the way that Diana, Irelia, or Ashe do.

The fact that Kha'Zix's color story is told from another champion's POV tells you something about the Voidborn and their level of sentience...

Regardless of in-game VO, Voidborn probably don't have verbal language - not even my man Vel'Koz.

Literally an excerpt from Scathlock only a few hours ago. That probably isnt the desired kind of response OP would want, but it explains a little bit about how narrative will likely move forward with future Voidborn lore. Refraining from a narrative with first-person perspective, which only makes sense to me considering all voidborn are these aberrations of impossibility.

Only issue I take with this new story, al beit this is a minor issue. Is that it's taken the writers years to get back around and readress these two character's rivalry. With this simple story, I dont understand why someone else hadn't written and released something similar a long time ago.
