This is why people can't take League lore seriously: terribly inspired retcons that has even DC laughing.

Elise as someone who was abusing a shadow isles spider was interesting. I mean she was involved with the shadow isles without being a full on zombie herself. That was an interesting take for the area. The fact she was manipulating both the people and the spider was also interesting.

Elise as a noxian reverse-ahri is just boring. Also another "noble" noxian? Those things are a dime a dozen now. Give us more redneck noxians like kled or something. I guess making her a were-spider is acceptable from a gameplay perspective, but she didn't have to be noxian and frankly the change makes her seem less cunning and manipulative.
