So elise is now noxian...

This is why people can't take League lore seriously: terribly inspired retcons that has even DC laughing.

Elise as someone who was abusing a shadow isles spider was interesting. I mean she was involved with the shadow isles without being a full on zombie herself. That was an interesting take for the area. The fact she was manipulating both the people and the spider was also interesting.

Elise as a noxian reverse-ahri is just boring. Also another "noble" noxian? Those things are a dime a dozen now. Give us more redneck noxians like kled or something. I guess making her a were-spider is acceptable from a gameplay perspective, but she didn't have to be noxian and frankly the change makes her seem less cunning and manipulative.

Even in her very first bio its not like she lived in the Shadow Isle's. She only made pilgrimages there every so often the sacrifice a few followers to sate her immortality.

And who says she isn't still tied to the shadow Isle's? This just tells us she lives in Noxus.

It was implied for ages that she was Noxian due to the whole "Vlad and LeBlanc are listed as friends" thing she had going on. If anything Elise's new lore looks like it's going to be a pretty natural expansion of her current lore.
