Analysis of Swain's Special Interactions

So the thing I look forward too the most with reworks/new releases in the special interactions between champions, and given Swain's position, I've been itching to see these. Thanks to SkinSpotlights for the quick release, and without any further ado, let's interpret Swain's special interactions:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaGaqTW6QPQ&t=16s Here's the video in case you want to watch.

The most immediate one that stood out to me is the very first one with Kassadin: "So he heard the rumors, the girl who came back." As we know, Kassadin has a daughter who was lost to the Void, and when Swain refers to a "girl who came back" it logically follows from the context that he's referring to a girl who came back from the Void. This can be interpreted as being that Kassadin's daughter is alive, or that a completely separate girl has been tainted by the void and returned. Either way, this hints at a future female Void-corrupted champion potentially, so that's pretty dope.

Another interesting one is with Fiora and her spurned suitors. I don't entirely know what Swain's hinting at here, but I interpreted it as something to do with her sexuality.

Gonna keep watching, will update as I go along. These lore bombs have me moist.

EDIT 1: So this is interesting, with Jinx, he refers to "faces, fading into flames" and says "it was all her fault." All we know about Jinx is that she has a connection with Vi and that no one really knows where she came from. This could mean that Vi is the person who is at fault for Jinx's descent into madness, or at least played a role in it.

Additionally, there's one with Katarina where he states: "He asked her to do what he could not, to kill me." I interpret this as Katarina's father, General Du Coteau tasking her with killing Swain. Urgot says in his interaction with her "I hope your father begged when Swain betrayed him" so there's a possible connection there. This is spicy stuff bois.

Edit 2: I forgot one, with Darius "No daughters. Only soldiers." Gonna be honest, got nothing with this one, maybe something to do with that comic?

Edit 3: Irelia cut off his arm apparently.

Edit 4: So Kat's dad is dead, and Swain is accused of killing him, says he didn't do it though.

Edit 5: So Swain considers the Black Rose/LeBlanc an enemy/thorn in his side.

Edit 6: He refers to Singed as "Darkwill's loose end," and states that he's not supposed to be alive. Darkwill was the previous Grand General if I remember correctly, hinting at collusion between Noxus and Zaun, and making Singed quite old. Also apparently Swain killed a bunch of Vastaya.

Oh, hey, you caught me in the midst of typing a similar topic! Some good catches here.

I took the Jinx quote more involving her blaming herself for whatever catastrophe drove her to insanity.

Regarding Edit 2:

At the end of the comic, Quill's second-in-command, Invetia, stabs and kills her. This is probably noteworthy because Invetia and Quill's names are both listed on the Trade Map released with the Piltover Update, and they have the same last name.

So it's likely that Invetia is Quill's daughter, and given the fact that Quill was involved with Darius...he might be Invetia's father. He watched her stab her mother, valuing Noxus over any family ties. She's a soldier now, not a daughter, and he knows it.

She'd rather have a ham sandwich over a hotdog if you get what I mean.

I find the singed one interesting too, because to ekko he says something in the range of "can only see mere seconds into the future" and a taunt to a zaunite "suffering pools where children play" all off these hinting at Swain looking down on zaun, and maybe in future stories zaun being the downfall of Swain, because he underestimates them

There is a fan theory video from a while back about the connections between jinx and vi which swain seems to perpetuate a little further. As well, it seems to further the theory that jinx is the little girl from Warwick's lore before he was kidnapped. As far as the darkwill/singed line, i would wait for the official champion release because there will probably be several lore updates coming at about the same time. Posting from mobile but I'll edit in a link for that fan video when i can.

What peeked my interest the most was when he interacts with one's from the shadow isles "a king waits in the mist, and another marches..." I thought the mist just spread by it's own accords but could this mean some unknown force is controlling it? Or when interacting with one from bildgewater which is constantly in peril from the mist he says "they fight the mist above the seas, never looking beneath..." like so many questions!?!?!

also warwick has a interaction with jinx where he says "you were there" and "let me forget" and warwick blames singed for something which i can only assume means that singed had something to do with warwick becoming a warewolf and maybe his insanity gas had something to do with jinx as well just a hunch, btw just now catching up on the lore let me know if i should know about something

Additional interesting quote of Swain attacking Hecarim: "A king remains in Mist and another marches". Could be a new shadow isles champion?
