Make Kumungu/Plague jungles one of the regions of Runaterra

If you remember in the old lore we had two tropical areas south to shurima called Kumungu and the Plague Jungles. Quite a few champions were from here, but im gonna talk about them later. Unfortunately tho, as far as im concerned theres no sign of these places in the lore.(This is not entierly true, since some champions still have some kind of jungle in their lore, and Ivern even mentions kumungu, atlough im not sure if thats canon or not.) My Suggestion is to reimplement these jungles as a completely new region in runaterra. It should be treated like any other region, having its own page on the universe, its set of champions, etc. Since riot has already done a lore update like this with Targon, im sure they could make this work. It could even have a Kumungu themed event around it. So heres a list of what champions that could belong to this region:

Nidalee Zyra Ivern Teemo Right now these are the champions that wiki(i know its outdated) lists as having some kind of connection with Kumungu. Nidalee Zyra live here, while Ivern is said to frequently visit this region. It also mentioned that Teemo gathers his poison for his darts here. I think Ivern should be turned in to a permanent resident of Kumungu, while in case Teemo receives a VGU, he potentially could be turned in to Yordle who is from the Kumungu, or at least lives there.

And talking of Yordles, lets mention Gnar . His lore takes place in a Jungle, and at it is told by Rengar , so that confirms, that Gnar and Rengar are from the same jungle. (Altough i have to mention that Rengar is now a Vastaya whose tribe is located somewhere in shurima, but judging by the fact that kumungu used to be just south to shurima,which could still be true, it means that Rengar can still be from Kumungu, or at least can be someone who visits these jungles to hunt.) Because both of them have some connection with a jungle, why not make that Kumungu then?(Also if Rengar is from Kumungu that means Khazix should reside in Kumungu as well.)

There are a few other champions i could imagine with a VGU that puts them in Kumungu some way or the other (like Malphite ), but they feel a bit forced, and there arent many of them in the first place, so im not going to talk about them. But of course, lets not forget that a new champion from kumungu can always be released to increase the champion pool of kumungu.

What do you guys think? Should Kumungu/Plague Jungles be one of the Regions of runaterra or should they be forgotten?

Rengar being from Kumungu would make sense considering that Nidalee is implied to be half-human and half-vastaya and since she can turn into a cougar it means that one of her parents was likely a cougar vastaya in which case it is possible that one of her parents was a kiilash,like Rengar(since it is likely that not every kiilash looks like a lion,they can likely take the forms of other big cats as well)

Let the Bandle Yordles stay in Bandle City, there are only like... 4 of them. Teemo is like, the most important Yordle of Bandle City, making him from another place is like making Garen from Freljord because he likes the cold weather.

What if we merged Kumungu Jungle and the Plague Jungle? That Kumungu translates as "Plague Jungle" in the common spoken Runeterran language. That Kumungu is this one massive jungle that is on the border of Shurima.

Kumungu is canon since Ivern mentions it. But Plague Jungles still need to be adressed.

Nida and Zyra should be in there but Ivern should travel thought all the nature in Runeterra not just one jungle.Also what do you mean by Gnars lore ¿ the short story with Rengar right 1

For the same general basis that Icathia doesn't have a standalone profile under the Regions page, is because nothing much lives in the Kumungu. Or and I would argue more importantly, there's never been much lore or even game value (eg. champions) for that jungle.

So short of implementing pretty extensive and required world building into a location thats never hand any groundwork of unique cultures, inhabiting races or historical importance that could be improved upon. So much special effort would be required that it brings up the question, why should Riot bother?

In my opinion- no Kumungu doesn't need to have its own profile. There isn't any resounding reason to even motivate into make it so. The jungle just doesn't meet the requirements to be a region for the Universe site that can share the space with the likes of Demacia, Shurima, Ionia etc. Because the only concept behind Kumungu begins and ends with its a jungle.
