Demacian Politics

So in terms of the city states political system. I would assume it is very complex and near impossible for low-middle class people to achieve a elite status. So my question is, people tend to conjure this idea up of a Shyvana J4 relationship which to be honest does not make sense. That said, who would have a better story or a better hand at dealing with the politicians of Demacia if they became Queen. Shyvana or Quinn? Who has a better story that can connect to the politics of Demacia? The struggle between the poor and the rich. Who has a better chance of changing it?

The whole Shyvana/J4 ship is just that, it's a ship. Shipping does not require logic.

As for who J4 would marry, I highly doubt it would be Quinn as she is not of noble birth. Odds are better he would marry someone who is already a noble of Demacia, or perhaps a noble of a foreign nation as part of some political agreement or treaty. Shyvana could actually be a candidate here as a show of power toward Noxus, however Shyvana is not necessarily bound by the social niceties of Demacia. If she feels she is just being used she could quite easily say no.

As for who could change it... Demacia is very militaristic and holds to their traditions. Attempting to change said traditions is likely treason. The only person who could even attempt such a change would be J4 himself, and only after the throne of Demacia is his. Such an attempt would make an interesting story of course, as it could show just how much power the King really has over Demacia.

Thx for the reply, I understand what you are stating but you are forgetting part of the big problem Demacia has. The political problems pertaining to the social ladder, aka hierarchy, low (peasant) middle class and the noble elite class. There is a large gap in between and it seems to be causing a lot of problems for all people in the city. Wouldn't Quinn be able to bring some sort of political change? Kind of bring peace between the low/peasant class and the elite nobles? A better understanding and uniting all peoples?

Right now Demacia is not like Noxus, where if you are born even homeless, but can prove your worth in battle, you can rise through the ranks. In Demacia, if you are a peasant, then that's what you will remain forever.

Quinn, by birth, is either lower or middle class. She wouldn't have a chance unless she's willing to commit treason.

The social ladder is honestly the least of the problems the people of Demacia have. They say they are for justice and doing what is right, and some honestly believe that (like Garen), however I would not be surprised if Demacia had reeducation camps for people who do not completely buy into the propaganda. They do not allow free thinking, you follow the word of the King and the word of the government.

In Noxus personal strength is all you need, and is all that matters. Free will is fully supported, so long as you are capable of fulfilling what you set out to do. In Demacia all you have to do is serve your country unquestionably. The closer you look at each of these two countries the harder it gets to see which one is actually the "good" one of the pair.

So no, I'm not actually forgetting Demacia's problems. On the surface it is a monarchy, but in practice it is a military dictatorship. People don't have problems in Demacia, unless you don't buy the propaganda, in which case you better pretend or else you're about to have a real problem.
