@Riot: What would it take for you to actually take your own lore seriously?
More writers? More pay? More reasons?
We all can tell you are doing a half-assed job here. What would motivate you in materialistic terms?

If they need more financial cause for developing lore, I imagine many people, like me, would be happy to buy things like League-based comics exploring the world and its inhabitants. I know I'm not the only one who was at least briefly obsessed by this fan project about Diana, and I'm sure many people would be at least as excited if something like it came from Riot themselves.
That said, I don't imagine a thread with such an aggressive tone will encourage much good from the narrative team. They have been catching a lot of hate since their justifiably unpopular lore changes, so I imagine they would be a little more responsive to positivity than to insults.
Biggest problem I see is the lack of communication. One can only hear: "Big things on the horizon, we promise." so many times without seeing anything come out of it before becoming cynical. I think Riot could do with a CM that touches base with all the groups and then communicates with the people on the forums. Communicating meaning a two directional conversation and not just throwing excuse after excuse to us.
So the story about Sion, the connection to Sivir to Azir, and Cass being a bitch is bad lore?
