Lux VO update

I think it's great, but I'm a little confused. Why are most of the old lines removed? I was under the impression that it was primarily an expansion. The patch notes say:

> We’ve added a bunch of new lines to Lux’s existing voiceover. She’s now got about four times as much to say, including many champion-specific interactions!

Which is... mostly true. The new VO retains 8/19 of the old VO's lines. All have been re-recorded except, bizarrely, the laughs. They entirely change her tone - all of the new ones sound like she's yelling compared to the old ones, and that's due to tone, not volume (they all sounded a little too quiet to me in game). I'm guessing this change in tone was intentional, as the sound quality is better than before. I just wish you were honest and didn't pretend that she'd be keeping her old lines.

So I guess I have just one question.

What's up with her personality change? This update seems to have substantially changed some aspects of her personality: All references to her being particularly clever were removed (and "Ahaha! I just got the joke!" implies the opposite), she has more patriotism (this isn't really a change, AFAICT, just a bit more emphasis), and she seems to have a greater desire to explore ("I want to see everything.", "Ooh, I've never been here before."). These are a little contradictory - why more Demacia and more wanting-to-leave-Demacia? And further, if that's part of her personality, why make explicit that Lux and Ezreal have never met? Doesn't it make more sense, not less?

And it gets more confusing. She has interactions with two others who are not Demacian or Noxian: Ryze and Taliyah. I don't remember the maps super well, but I don't recall anything in Taliyah's lore that would imply she came near to Demacia - she went to Noxus and thence to Ionia. Besides, antimagic rocks would probably be pretty significant to Taliyah if she ran across them. But Ryze makes less sense. It's highly unlikely that there are/were any runes in Demacia, so Ryze wouldn't have passed by.

In other words, I love the quality, but I'm uncertain about how much I like the lore implications. I'd love it if someone could make sense of this (and while unsatisfying, I suppose "hold on, her new lore is coming really soon" would work).
