Hmm, why does Lux have no specific quote towards Fiora? Is their rivalry being retconned?

Seems like Riot has Lux treat Fiora like she does every other Demacian Champion besides Galio. Is their supposed rivalry going to be non-existent?

Or perhaps Lux is too naive to notice Fiora's envy and hatred towards her.

I think you are more right. the altercation between the Crownguards and the Laurents was very lopsided. The Laurents were nearly destroyed and lost tons of credibility while it was just inconvenient for the Crownguards. Considering that Lux wasn't even involved in the situation, I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't remembers.

If that were the case, why does Fiora not have Garen as a rival?

Here's my thought: maybe Lux was the one who caught Fiora's father trying to cheat, and since Lux exposed him, Fiora hates her for it.

Yeah as others have stated, seems to be a bit of one sided rivalry. Like I can see Fiora skulking around muttering hateful words about Lux under her breath while Lux is going around passing out cupcakes and flowers and goes to offer Fiora one.

honestly though, is not Fiora known to be arrogant? Everyone would accuse Fiore of being the "bad one" in this rivalry.
