Likely because Riot actually focused on readability as well.
Not to mention that Riots version looks more natural than the custom one,the custom one looks far too white,even the trees are almost completely white,which doesn't make sense(especially when their bark is pure white as well all of a sudden)

I don't think it does...The fan made one would be horrible to play on.
It's not better .
