how can you be victorious if your stats arent even considered past the halfway mark.
edit: if the name is given as: most influential over the ENTIRE season, then that name would be void, if they're picking it based off the first 3 months.

Tormentula1 votesYea, but they can't make the skin itself in a single month after the entire year passes by, it takes them around 6 months to develop a skin so they have to make a very good/safe prediction on who to go with.
Graves was historically a good champion throughout previous seasons and he was a reliable champion this season, it was after the skin got decided he became obsolete, but even so we can all agree he'll come back soon anyway so he's reliable enough to deserve the skin. The skin team probably figured "he's strong now, he's been strong before, he'll probably still be strong when we're done with this skin".

No lol, victorious skins are supposed to be selected as per Riot as 'being the most influential champion during this season.' Meaning only the current season that we're on. No decision is based off of last years gameplay.
But apprently the skin is selected only a few months into the current years season, so like the stats suggest, can drastically change what the outcome should be.

Kha was decent at best at the end of Season 6, really only getting some of the spotlight for being a reliable carry jungler in solo que, but rarely ever seen in competitive. In season 7, however, his influence on the meta went through the roof and he was all of a sudden the most prioritized jungler in pro play. And since this victorious skin looks like it's going to most likely be graves, i just can't see why HE would get it over Kha. Graves was hella good all last season (season 6) and didn't really do anything special beyond that THIS season. As for other positions, it's quite debatable, but what i'm mainly trying to say is that (obvious bias aside) I think Kha was easily the most deserving jungle choice for the skin.

yeulx1 votesSo riot originally inteded for champions who where most impactful to get a skin.... like elise in season 3 ..... but the issue that had happend was... in season 5 there was 2 really impactful champions and they had already made the 2 art pieces to them but they couldnt release both so it had went... victorious sivir took seasons 5 slot and maokai took season 6 slot.... and season 6 was where graves was most impactful if im right... so hes getting his skin now.. so i think things got shifted back
