Why is Azir getting a new skin so soon?

why is it unfair? they got a great idea and they made it simple as that. not all champs are easy to make skins for.

Gravelord Azir came out nearly a year ago, it isn't that recent.

riot doesn't count the team skins as riot made, also he's garbage tier, it's the least they can do

Gravelord is over a year old,it came out on the 1st december and warring kingdoms azir will likely come out next year in january,so by then it'll be over 13 months since gravelord came out.

Also they did say that nowadays they don't count esports skins anymore when it comes to determine if a champ needs another skin or not(so for riots skin team its like azirs last skin was gravelord).

Last but not least,we get the year of the rooster next year and Azir is frankly the most fitting champ for this zodiac(still kinda mad that Hecarim didn't get a skin during the year of the horse),as Swain is on the list for a VGU,Anivia is female(and rooster refers to a male bird) and while Valor is a male,we have to keep in mind that Quinn is the champion,not valor.

Gravelord was from December 1st 2015... that's quite awhile ago and SKT Azir is a Legacy E-Sports skin which those mean the champion is still eligible for another as they are E-sports related.

SKT Azir may be recent but as many people have said, team skins do not count because they are made specifically for the players who used those champions at Worlds

here's a good example: Ahri got Arcade recently and Faker wants an Ahri skin for him. Yes, people are gonna say "but she got Arcade recently", but it doesn't matter at all because SKT Ahri was made specifically for Faker (assuming the skin does happen).
