The lore of Maokai shows us that her wife is not happy with being an undead creature or the thing that the King did... and Evelynn seems pretty ok with her blue skin
Welp, she might be anyone really. If among everyone she has to be the ruined king' s wife... i find that unplausible.
I hardly think that a queen which wicked resurrection generated an island full of terrors would go full "Sex and the city" skanking around killing people for money/wathever other reward.
Unless she divorced, maybe.
