Draven's Axes

How does Draven's axes function exactly? Do the secondary axe-heads spilt from the axes like oversized Butterfly knives or do they function like switchblades?

I wondered about this question since I had watched the New Dawn video and saw that his axes did not split like they normally do. Was that done to make it easier to animate Draven's weapons?

Well, yah see, Draven can harness the natural beauty of Draven and has actually been able to weaponize it.

By flexing his grand mustache, Draven can call upon all his might to actually summon another Draven by firing a Draven signel to a parallel dimension, and in time can actually make a literal League of Draven!

Those Dravens can then reflect light off their weird crown things, causing one to percieve that Draven can connect two of his axes, when in actuality it's not an axe at all, but merely just 2 Draven's glued to a metal circle.

I think draven has simply a whole bunch of axes, you know like ashe never runs out of arrows or something like that. He throws his axes and while he is able to recatch them he has his own (unlimited) ammo bag.
