This skin made me a Sona main. I had played her maybe 2 times before this skin was released and I instantly bought it. Such an awesome collaboration of musicians and visual artists coming together to create something so cool.

I don't like the skin, but it's iconic. Elementalist Lux and the next ultimate skins will never be as iconic as this skin is

I just tried Sona once in a bot match and hell, I found her kit boring. The only thing you aim is your ultimate, everything else is autotargeted with an aura attached to it... not really my cup of tea....

BUT if I ever get this skin in a hextech chest (I don't expect to be so lucky, already got Spirit Guardian Udyr), then I really feel forced to play her. Doesn't matter that I don't like her playstyle.... that skin is worth it.... it's a masterpiece....

I just enjoy the music. I have terrible anxiety and during ranked, it flares up more than usual, and Sona's music helps me with that.

2015 was my favorite year of league: it was the year I had friends to play with, the release of DJ Sona, Bard, Tahm Kench, and especially Kindred; and when the mastery system was first implemented, I played Evelynn for a whole month to get mastery 5, and then got mastery 5 on Kindred on the first week of their launch. 2015 was also the best year I had for ranked because I got placed into Silver IV and did not leave that tier. :P

I main Sona, and this is the skin I use. (Despite having all of the Arcade skins) I even start every match with a chatall saying...

"Everybody on the dance floor! It's party time!"

I think for me what made the skin TRULY Interesting is that Sona has NO Voicelines in the skin. She's legitimately mute. A MASSIVE part of what makes League of Legends champions interesting imo is their vocal personalities. But DJ Sona just said 'fk you' to that idea.

If I end up playing Sona and using the skin, I start Concussive, because it has a better early beat. Then when I've got a couple items completed, I skip back to Kinetic, it has a more aggressive active pace. Ethereal is nice, but is just too calm for the game's pacing most times. You can tell when people are listening, because they tend to be more aggressive and pushy when I switch back to Kinetic.

It's definitely interesting on a level of gameplay review. Maybe I might need to start using Ethereal when I want teammates to relax and hold back.

But you're right about one thing: DJ Sona definitely out(cl)assed Frostbutt Irelia. I feat I didn't think possible.

I joined this game just for dj sona. Was a bit sad when it was a skin, but eventually got that booti. Now i only play DJ sona sup.

Sona was always my favorite and the reason i started league...this skin made it even better... i hate to admit i find her kit lacking a bit and could use some twitches/changes ,but her character her model,animations and her skins keep me interested enough to ignore the rest.

DJ Sona is quite an amazing skin I also remember when it was being teased with just the name people hated the idea because they thought it would just be Arcade Sona 2.0, and also they were mad that their main didn't get the ultimate skin
