Kindred's Relation With Yorick

http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=883037 As of now, Kindred's page states Yorick as a rival. I found that fairly interesting as, while Kindred will absolutely view anyone 'undead' as a foe and an abomination to the natural order of life & death, Yorick respects the dead and acted almost as a guide between this life and the 'next'.

I'm going off of the old Yorick lore which is absolutely fantastic (link above) since the new lore is 4 sentences long that gives us little to no information on who Yorick Mori is/once was.

I just wanted to post this to see if we could spark some discussion. Riot mentioned that Kindred has met many champions in the League, of which I can see Yorick being one of them.

Considering he is a guide for the newly dead I would assume he would meet with Kindred in several occasions. He isn't exactly helping or hindering the balance in any noticeable way so I don't see why Kindred would see him as a rival.

Yorick brings back dead beings as ghouls. Kindred is a spirit of death and finality. The two don't mix well.

I can definitely see all of these points. It also shows in Yorick's judgment how he no longer really cares about honoring the dead, he just starts digging graves for them.

Yorick doesn't want to die as he is the last link to his bloodline as he didn't have a child when he was alive. The wolf is gonna have a long chase after this stubborn mofo.

yeah Yorick's old lore was him worrking to guide the souls of the dead so he could die and remain dead

They (Kindred and Yorick) both want Yorick to be dead, but neither knows how to make Yorick dead. So he's kinda an abomination in Kindred's view if I had to guess.

Kindred is pretty bias. I'm fine with this.

...I think Yorick is basically a scab doing a piss-poor job of doing Kindred's job. Mostly because he doesn't know how to do it right, but feels the need to do it/has to. So yeh, they would likely hate him for doing inferior work, but also feel sorry for him?

Yorick is getting a complete make-over. This may include his story and lore. Kindred's rivalry including Yorick may just bit an inkling sign of what Yorick is to become.

ChampUp are working on Yorick at the moment. Intriguing stuff too.

While it may be possible that his new lore will reveal why hes a rival to Kindred, for now I can only assume that his new lore has him not respecting the dead by helping them move on. Rather instead be reanimating those who have fallen, causing a rift in the cycle of death and making Kindred one mad entity.

Its been a while since i read Yorick but I thought his lore was about guiding people to a life of undeath and not putting them down for good. Maybe I'm remembering something different.

Some Shadow Isles lore and longer introductions for its champions are supposed to come later this month.
