Narrative,
I have noticed that you have a map of Valoran. Yet There are still shady Areas. And For the sake of the lore community, some places need to be clarified more and give is an example of what that place is like. Leave Noxus, Demacia, and especially Freljord alone for now. They have had many turns. With this recent Shurima update, I believe some Areas need more ligh as well. GenociderX Ps: Wheres targon?

The Sea Dragons are creatures that lives in the Guardians Sea, its mentioned on the Fizz Lore.
Bubbling Bog is mentioned once in the Yorick lore...
We have 0 information about Fyrone Flats.
Maybe the guy on the picture of Conqueror Sea is "Well" (A canceled Champ)
Voodo lands is mentioned in the Annie Lore, Maybe cancelled champs like Tiki or Taboo had origins there.
Howling Marsh was changed after the lorerework of Karthus
Shurima... i have never heard of that place
Kumungu and Plague Jungles are... a forest and a jungle... i guess that they dont have many "lore"....
And Yes, Mount Targon is Gargantuan.

IMO they just need a new map to work with that map is SO old

He was a water elemental(originally some kind of priest who drowned and returned in this form),but was never really made because they didn't have the tech to make a good looking water elemental.
Right now we have 
as our water user,but she is a mermaid,so I'd say she'd still be different enough from a water elemental just like

The Plague Jungles were part of the old (good) trundle lore. Fealt I should add it in here.

In fact one entry of the JoJ mentions how they were raiding the northern lands in valoran,so I doubt they lived in the plague jungles which are the most southern region of the continent. I could actually imagine that they were most likely living in the bubbling bog,since trundle had originally swamp powers

Destínum1 votesNope. Plauge Jungles where Wukong's birthplace and Rammus origin of power. Imo there should only have been Kumungu to begin with, because they are both jungles ravaged by magic that are right next to each others.

HigeR2 votesI'd think they have update said map but haven't disclosed it just yet, actually if you ask me I think they had very VERY different plans about evolving League of legends than what we know today. In the original client, when you wanted to play a certain map you had to choose an area on the map (the one you uploaded)... it doesn't really makes sense but for some reason I seem to remember that summoner's rift was in the upper side where Freljord is, while Twisted treeline was around in the bubbling bog... it was really really weird because the map you chose would be highlighted in red and the other one would stay in green leaving the rest of the map untouched and you'd wonder if one day the whole map would be complete and judging by the size of the areas it could have hold up around 5 maps more ._.
Perhaps in the beginning they thought about making a map or game mode per area but as the game evolved they realized it wasn't the best choice...?
I Agree though, it'd be very cool if we got more info on runeterra's geography and geology even... I mean if it's a planet of sorts, is there just one big continent? will this be retconned at some point? what are the gains of having just a big Pangea over continents? it's all questions Riot should be trying to answer internally ._. and to us I think the best best would be a full new updated map.

TwoD2 votesI'm pretty sure Valoran isn't the only continent in League, I'm expecting Riot to pull off something like "unexplored or forgotten lands" as a new big content patch in the future for League. But yeah on topic though, some of those places do need some lore and some need updates, also isn't Mount Targon supposed to have been at the very top of Valoran?
GenoXx3 votesI cant see it happening. If Narrative, lacks the creativity to give a given area some life, than I can't see them making a new continent. Sure, It would be fantastic to see another continent. Hell, it's better than trying to stick another city state somewhere in a small corner around Runeterra. I just don't see it happening.

SecretLore1 votesyeah if they'd add another continent(I also doubt this a bit as Valoran is still getting explored,but just lets assume if they'd do this),then there'd need to be some nations/places that Valoran itself is lacking.
Currently there is no volcanic area in Valoran,I mean they planned to make the magma chamber,but never talked about where it would be. another thing I noticed is,that they don't seem to have any important forests,we've got 2 jungles but no known forest.
In terms of civilisation I'd say that we could still get an aztec one or a native american one(or one that simply mixes both).
Overall I'd say that if they made a new continent it'd probably be smaller than valoran,I mean continents don't have to have the same size(just compare asia to europe for example),so a continent with like 2-3 areas or something like that could be feasible.(alternatively they could even relocate some areas from valoran to a different continent,I mean it always struck me as rather weird that we had 2 jungles right next to each other...)

GenoXx1 votesWhat about if it was around the same size or a little bigger? More possibilities for stories. And i would like it if they would come up with a area for Forest/jungle civilization. Based on the character Riot have and factions. Seems like they could pull it off very well. With a Secluded Society that worship animals, etc. Like how native americans did. Udyr does not fit this lol. To be honest, i can see them pulling that off with a Kumugu/ Plague jungles event or lore update. I suppose the reason why sentient animals are there was (like in WuKong's lore) The lost rune stones there. So overall I think it would be a pretty exciting place to shed some light on. We do lack the forest archetype faction
SecretLore1 votesThe thing is that a bigger continent would need more factions there too,so that it doesn't look like a big bunch of nothing(unless there'd be some real big empire,in which case it'd be fitting for it to be really big) and Riot is already struggling a bit with fleshing out Valoran alone.
I mean there are already several city-states in valoran alone(freljord,demacia,noxus,ionia,bilgewater,shadow isles,shurima,targon,zaun,piltover & Bandle city,so there is a total of 11 city states(12 if you'd count the vodoo lands) and maybe some smaller regions/factions(like the void)).So I'd say if they make a new continent it should be smaller and have less factions/regions,because we have already most settings and don't need 2 versions of the same one(something that more or less happened with the howling marsh and the shadow isles)

Personally I am a fan of the vodoo lands.I mean a land full with all kinds of dark magicians sounds pretty badass and could be an interesting faction,but they never got anything aside from annie(and its even more jarring considering that annie is one of the oldest champions)
