You can't determine the personality of a champ from just three lines of dialogue.

"Kyahahahahahaha!" "You'll never ESCAPE!" "I will tear them apart."

Three lines from make you think he's just a psychotic killing machine but these are just a few of his combat lines.

"WHERE IS IT?!" "Feed!" "Fresh souls!"

These three lines are from , you'd think he was just a ravenous monster that you can easily see coming but he actually needs to make a deal with you to be a danger to you and you need to watch out for his ability to con you into making a deal.

The point is that just a few lines of dialogue are not enough to figure out what a champion is like.

Idk, the old Galio was definitely sad bc he failed to keep his master alive and tired from just being around sooo long, whereas this one has none of that :/ "Stripped of his reason for being, Galio despaired. For years he remained in solitude, standing vigil over the bones of the master he had failed to protect... a literal monument to his own everlasting shame."

The new guy reminds me more of my original impression of Zac before they changed his lore too...

When those are the lines you hear in the ANNOUNCEMENT TRAILER, chances are those lines represent his actual personality.

I agree with you, but i still think Galio is going to be exaggeratingly, super heroic with that air of "I'm here to save the day, citizen. This is my home and I have vowed to protect it! Even if it means my life!"

Actually you can, since those are the lines clearly presented in the short span of time Riot had to introduce him to people. CLEARLY that is what Riot wants you to feel of him and think of him. That is the point of introducing character in that fashion, so you get the first glimpse into their personality, and that is why Riot chose the lines they did.

Saying, well what I copied from your opening line in your post is actually just false, because that is 100% what you should be doing, as that is kind of the point.
