@Riot - Few questions for the Skin team (and general public)..

Just thought of a few random questions that I'm pretty curious about. Answers from the skin team and just the general public in general is something I'm curious about too just to see everyone's thoughts.

  1. Who is your favorite champion?

  2. What has been your favorite skin to work on? (general public can't answer that I suppose)

  3. What is your favorite skin?

  4. What skin line do you most want to see continued, or maybe even a skin line that you've just thought of that doesn't have a skin line yet?

  5. With no ultimate skin this year, are we going to get one next year (which you probably can't answer anyway)? But, what champion would you want to have an ultimate skin?

  6. What is your favorite skin concept you have seen? Either from a player on boards, deviantart, a fellow riot team member, etc?

I guess that's about it for now. Those are the main ones I've thought of. And guess it's only fitting for me to answer my own questions...

  1. My favorite skin is probably Final Boss Veigar. The looks, the effects, the joke.. All of it! Love my evil little mage. Although, this new Super Galaxy Kindred skin is total fire!

  2. Elderwood. I know we just got two new ones, but I feel like there are so many more just waiting. Lulu, Zyra (for sure), Maokai, Malphite... Can't wait to see what comes next! Also Neon Strike.. There's only one .. NEON STRIKE DIANA PLEASE.

  3. I know with her low amount of particles, etc, it's pretty hard, but I'd love to see Katarina with an ultimate skin (heck even a legendary).. Her skins are pretty subpar, even the 975s. I would love to see something that brings more life to her. But more realistic, I'd say Ahri, Veigar or Syndra. Syndra I feel has so much potential in the skin category and she hasn't gotten a REALLY good one that she deserves, although I will admit I love the snow day one.

  4. I've seen so many I can't remember off the top of my head, but my most recent favorite is the Arclight Jhin concept floating on the forums at the moment. It's great.

2) What has been your favorite skin to work on? Ahhh, this is hard. Firecracker Jinx was a ton of fun to work on. I'd say Blood Moon Elise is a close second, though. :)

3) What is your favorite skin? Arcade Sona.

4) What skin line do you most want to see continued, or maybe even a skin line that you've just thought of that doesn't have a skin line yet?

I think more PROJECT skins would be awesome. I'm likely a bit bias 'cause I had a blast working on PROJECT Fiora. If not PROJECT, I'd probably cast my vote for more Arcade skins!

5) With no ultimate skin this year, are we going to get one next year (which you probably can't answer anyway)? But, what champion would you want to have an ultimate skin?

You're right, unfortunately, I can't drop any details on that one. :c As for who I'd like to see get one - I'd love to see something along the lines of a Four Seasons Zyra we had a discussion around on the boards a few weeks ago.

  2. Dragonslayer Pantheon. Those wings with his ult are just musical when they open up.
  3. I'd like to see a Pool Party or Beast Hunter Sion skin. Because they have a possibility of looking like a living Sion and not undead.

  3. What skin line do you most want to see continued, or maybe even a skin line that you've just thought of that doesn't have a skin line yet? The Eternum skin to be quite honest. There needs to be more of those.

Not necessarily a skin concept; but it's a take on a medieval version of Hawk Eye from The Avengers. I know someone mentioned before that it'd make as an awesome concept for Varus.

  3. Too many to choose; Master Arcanist Ziggs, Omega Teemo, Infernal Nasus, Elderwood Bard, Final Boss Veigar
  4. Death Blossom, Elderwood, and Cosmic Reaver we need more of these skins
  5. I'm thinking an ultimate skin for a Kha. Like Ultimate predator Kha something that doubles down on his evolution making him more feral and primal
  6. CHRISTMAS EVE; I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR 3 YEARS RIOT PLS iNAME CAN CHANGE BUT SNOWDOWN SKIN wHERE? Yeah yeah I know I have to wait till the 3-4th attempt to update/rework her begins, anyway that and Sea Witch Nami are pretty cool

edit: 4 Seasons Zyra sounds pretty freakin sweet im just not sure what you would do with Zyra herself, like why is she the 4 seasons? Does she become mother nature?

  4. Wildfire (i'm a bit of a pyro and the channels of flame are just visually stunning)
  5. Swain, his dragonmaster would be an awesome ultimate skin with his ult turning him more and more draconic as the game goes on
  6. There was this concept floating around years ago now called withered varus, it looked visually stunning and actually garnered a riot response saying they may work on it.

Continued: Soul Reaver New one: Post-Apocalypse, walking dead/DayZ kind of skins. Like Jhin would have a hockey mask/shirt/jeans/pistol, Yi would have goggles/balaclava/trench coat/baseball bat, Graves would have a double barrel shotgun/no shirt/ammo holder around his chest, Xin Zhao would have a spade/head bandana/shirt-tie/smart pants etc
