literally no mention of Galio throught any of Poppy's lore.. Why couldnt Galio have been bodyguard of Orlon or something? What if Galio was some sort of Riddle telling guardian that she met along her travels and then just sorta "came along" because he found her quest interesting. would it really be that hard to write Galio into her lore somehow? Poppy's dense , Galio is smart and articulated. its the perfect combo These are dark days indeed.

I'm picturing a setting where Galio stands vigil over some distant, remote parts of Demacia, keeping the border safe from Noxian invaders. From time to time he runs in to Poppy again, sometimes after only a few days apart, sometimes after having been apart for years. They exchange news, stories, have a laugh and a good time before bidding farewell to each other once again to return to their duties. A friendship as strong and old as the kingdom they both commit themselves to.

Seeing as they already had the new Bandle City crest laying around for the Thunderdome event, they probably already have some new concepts about the place and its inhabitants by now. Shurima was probably being updated at the same time Bilgwater was, so in theory, the champ lores should be released soon. Mount Targon on the other hand is probably due for a spring release or summer one. All Im saying is that they plan all of this way ahead of when we actually see it being released to the public, probably half a year or a year in advance.

That's the only timeline I can see for this right now, but either way I don't expect much yordle lore until after June unless there's a new yordle champion in the intervening months or a yordle VU that comes with extra lore. Perhaps a Targonian yordle?

Dude would've had to travel super far to get to the jungles from Freljord in the modern day, considering he's in the jungle's right now, giving Rengar a hard time.

Sharjo2 votesGalio isn't mentioned, you're right on that, but the entirety of Poppy's new lore actually strengthens what connection would be there, that's what I'm trying to get across. Poppy's lore was meant to convey who she is and how she wound up doing what she's doing now. Her encounter(s) with Galio are a part of that longer journey afterwards, and something that could be embellished in its own short story or comic.
Effectively Poppy is more critical to Galio's lore than he is to hers, so it makes sense that she would be mentioned in his lore but not the other way around. Like Gangplank and Miss Fortune; Gangplank murdering Sarah's parents was a critical day in her life, but for him, it was tuesday. That doesn't mean these things don't matter later down the road.
