I'm sad that he got looked over without even a word. His animations and model are on a far more tragically outdated level than Swain IMO. But then again, Swain's VGU sets Noxus up for a relaunch so I guess it's justified if that's the case..
Sad yeah a little. But when you think about how much Room they have to develop with, New Champ Lore, Dragon Master Swain, Flesh out Noxian Lore not to mention where they take his kit.
As for Morde the Avenue for development is less so. They kinda fleshed out his lore during the worst Rework ever so any new lore would have to be A Driving story forward. Morde skins are low priority King of clubs wasn't that long ago.
I just Hope when they do his Rework they don't 1/4 ass it like last time
Considering Morde is a Juggernaut and Urgot is as well, there's one reason why they didn't put him up next. They said recently that they like to try and spread them out a bit on terms of what type of champions they are doing.
Morde after Eve? Two shadow isle champion is big no. Just like two juggernauts are no for Riot. I also strongly doubt they get to him after Swain cause three dark champions in row. They would likely pick Nunu, Irelia, Pantheon (not sure how dark he counts) or Akali. These champs are highest of tier 1 light champions, my personal guess is one between these, they need to do more chicks.
