I've just finished reading Camille's lore and I can't stop thinking about it

It's just a gut feeling and I'm probably wrong, but I think that Camille's crystal has something to do with a certain scorpion-like race that lives in the Shuriman desert Skarner ...

Just think about it for a moment: her crystal is extremely rare, it gives her longevity and immense strength and it vibrates differently according to her emotional state. On top of that, the device implanted in her chest that harness the power of the crystal was made by a Shuriman inventor, who could have previously come in contact with a similar item and studied its properties.

What's your opinion on the matter?

Edit: it looks like Camille's bio was already out before I made this post and it pretty much confirms my theory. I don't know if I'm either an idiot for having skipped THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of her lore or a genius for being able to link her crystal with the brackern race on my own.

Her biography explicitly states that the Hex-Crystals in her lore are, in fact, the Brackerns' life stones.

In Camille's bio, her great-great-aunt, Elicia, found some life stones, and lost an arm for the sake of gathering them. Elicia more than likely either encountered a furious Skarner, or one of the Xer'Sai.

It's an interesting theory, but I'm more interested in your thoughts on how she shows this dark side to piltover, and how it seems to have adapted the glorious evolution for it's own ends. Actually, if we combine that with your theory, that's some interesting usage of relics from different cultures. It wouldn't be the first time we've seen a piltie use artifacts from another culture for their own endsEzreal . It'll be interesting to see how your theory plays out!

My opinion?

BURN PILTOVER TO THE GROUND. THOSE WHO DEFILED THE BRAKCERN WILL NOT BE SPARED.

...

Ok now that's out of the way. So yeah, I'm looking forward to the day Skarner crashes through the streets of Piltover, because he deserves justice for his kin.
