How many people know Riven was originally planned as a Demacian?

I am just curious how many people were aware of this cool bit of Trivia. Riven was originally planned as a Demacian who, after seeing Noxian refugees being abused, committed treason for moral reasons. Then was exiled with blade shattered, swearing to return Demacia to a just kingdom one day. It was decided Noxus needed another champion and instead before release she was changed to have a similar but more Noxian backstory.

On that thought imagine an AU skin for Demacian Riven, might be interesting.

According to the wiki, the Redeemed Riven skin represents this AU.

With her starring as a boss.

Because she can be hella scary when one of her mains ~~ulti~~ are behind the wheels.

Almost forgot Riven was originally Demacian. Read through the wiki too when I first started this game near the start of season 2.

Plus didn't they say in the trivia that Redeemed Riven is what she would had been as a Demacian?

i knew that and i always thought it would make much more interesting story for her. when i was reading her lore i always thought this sort of military action is more likely to be done by Demacia. they are more of a "sacrifice for greater good" kind of people.

I've known for a long time, She's been my favorite champ since her release, it'd be silly not to know most trivia. And her originally being demacian would make a lot more sense seeing how she doesn't seem very Noxian from her quotes..

But hey that's what the Redeemed skin is for amirite? P.S Kill the Crimson Elite skin with fire.

They should have kept her Demacian. Noxus didn't need a dirty coward like her!

I've always said she would fit in better with Demacia... hey, how about a trade? We'll give Demacia Riven if Demacia gives Noxus Fiora. Sound good?

I always found that really interesting, but I can see why they changed it, as it doesn't fit with Demacia's old lore characterization. (Old Lore) Sivir's a Noxian refugee and they were pretty hospitable to her.

Honestly it makes sense given the way her VO talks without really sounding that Noxian at all (even given her backstory and trauma, there's nothing in her VO that gives out a Noxian mentality. Not even a conflicted line about it. It's all about self honor and finding herself. Hell she has a line about not needing to get violent, that's incredibly off putting for someone who is not only a former Noxian, but it trying to find her path after being a very violent warrior).

It feels like her self awareness redemption arc is already finished and she just has to do the actual redeeming now. It's dumb imo. I'd rather her sound more conflicted about how she feels different on how everything she has been raised upon might be wrong.

"I used to have pride in Noxus's strength, but now I'm not so sure what the word means anymore."

Bad example line but I hope it gets my point across.
