I actually prefer that Gravelord Azir uses armored zombies instead of Skeletons.

You can be a lot more creative with Armor than Skeletons tbh

I think the no skeletons rule doesn't hamper creativity, it forces Riot to think outside of the box. Seeing the Shadow Isles monster concepts from that Harrowing dev blog not long ago reaffirmed that for me.
