New Star Guardians?!

Edit: (9/16/2016) So after seeing this I felt the urge to write a fanfic about the upcoming skins. I'm happy to say that it's right in front of me (on paper) as a first draft and that I'll type it up as soon as I get home! I'd do it now, but I'm at work and all I can use is my phone (and my thumbs couldn't take it). Same reason why I'm editing the top part of this post since I can't touch the bottom part on my phone. It's weird. I'll post a link here when I type it up and put it in concepts! Can't wait!!!

I'm going to throw this out there based mostly on whom hasn't seen a skin for a bit and assuming a Star Guardian "Team" with all roles accounted for.

Top Lane - Star Guardian Riven Jungle - Star Guardian Poppy ADC/Bot - Star Guardian Quinn Support - Star Guardian Janna

Edit: I would also point out that Quinn, Sivir and Jinx are fairly interchangeable considering all three got skins roughly at the same time last year.

And I wouldn't put it past them to do Star Guardian Illaoi instead of Riven.

Lulu fits most lanes and Riven got an Arcade and a Championship overhaul. It may be her, since she works top/mid/supp and is already voiced by one of the most memorable magical girls out there :O

As someone that already has Pool Party, Winter Wonder and Dragon Trainer... please may it not be Lulu. It's already hard to decide what to wear when I'm tasting purple.

As someone who has all of Lulu's skins, I'm just saying it makes sense thematically. If you can't decide between which skin to wear, maybe just don't buy it and keep using the ones you already have? :3c

My hopeful speculation is: Sivir, Poppy, Taric, and Talon. With the exception of Taric (who absolutely needs skins and this theme fits the shit out of him) it's been a while since the others have had skins. Plus, in terms of anime style tropes, these characters fit the archetypes of a typical team, and they're all on the young and cute side of things. I would take Garen over Talon though, but Talon makes more sense given his youth.

Woah, woah, woah. Not that I have anything wrong with male star guardians. But why does it have to be the blue colors?

We can have females in masculine colors and males in feminine colors. Sailor Mercury was blue after all!

Note: I'm not trying to start a gender war, I mainly just don't want to think of a lesser chance that we'll get Star Guardian Poppy. Four female champions is a better chance than two female and two male champions. If we get Star Guardian Poppy then I won't care who the other skins belong to.

Well, im not trying to assume their gender. But, i would like to see a few male Star Guardians to an all female for a chance to get star gaurdian. The weird thing was, I put a post about making a star guardian yasuo. And it didnt have anything bad content wise or anything close to bad. I just named the abilities and colour description. About 2 hours later it was taken down. And i was really confused. I still have the text if you would like to analyze it but dont you think that is a little fishy?

Why does everyone want MALE Star Gaurdians anyway? I always find it a bit odd. I mean I do love the Urgot designs and all but these Garen ones that are out there and a bit creepy. Plus the Star Guardians are based around Magical Girls mainly, I know there are Magical Boy series out there (Cute High Earth Defense Club) but guys always look a bit off in a Fuku XD

I think it would be cool to have male equivalents to star guardians, not necessarily as joke-skins in frilly outfits, but something out of Saint Seya or something like that. Considering that the crossover of LoL and anime fans is approximately 100%, i think most people would be down with that

SJW's please. Give the guy a break. There's nothing wrong with hoping yasuo gets a girl's sailor outfit to fight in. Maybe his windwall will give him a marilyn style skirt lift and we'll see if he's more of a tanto or a katana.

Pink for girls/blue for boys is a commonly used trope that dates back to the middle ages. There's something called piggybacking and it's likely that riot did it on purpose to hint that 2 of the champions getting skins will be dudes.

However, until the ~50s or so, the color was reversed. Pink was a boy's color and blue was a girl's color

Cool fact.

I didn't know sometime before the 50's they reversed the colors. I know it in the middle ages it was originally blue for boys because I think they thought the color would protect them. Pink was chosen as a compliment. I don't know when or how it shifted to pink for boys and blue for girls before then.

I seriously doubt Eve. When she got safecracker it was like a "this is the best we can do til she gets an update" and something like Star Guardian is definitely gonna be a no on her, I think.

You're probably right, now that I think about it for that purpose alone.

Maybe Zyra perhaps? I'm going by women who haven't gotten a skin or match the theme based on their powers / lore. Ahri is a great candidate but she already got a skin recently (Arcade Ahri) so she's out of the loop. Karma is another great candidate but her model is ... kind of in the same boat as Evelynn so hard to say.

Regardless, i'm excited. The more skins we get, the better in my opinion.

Karma's model is actually MUCH newer than Eve's (certainly not on the level of today's reworks, but still "modern" by today's standards. At the very least her current model is much newer than her old model) so I think she has a real chance. The only thing holding her back is that she didn't get Warden THAT long ago, but I think she's in the running.

Zyra would be a cool one to see, but she gets skins so rarely due to the difficulties that specifically come with making skins for Zyra. I would love to see it, though.

Don't think it'll be Soraka. She's too obvious, sorta like how Diana won't get a blood moon skin or Veigar won't get a Dark Star skin. They're meant to explain the champion in an alternate universe.

Plus she has like a gazillion skins already and recently got the Program Soraka skin
