I mean what is that champ? Are Rito aware that there is champ called ''aurelion sol''? for real, he is so bad, and so useless, got nerfed to the ground few weeks after his release and hasn't gotten any significant buffs so far, it's also been 2 years since his release, and he still hasn't gotten a skin.. instead, we get tons of Jinx and vayne skins, tons of ahri skins... Aurelion sol is a cool champion, his story and background can inspire many ideas for skins, he could've gotten a dark star for example, he could have gotten a Chinese dragon skin as well, but we saw nothing being done for him..

you right about skins riot knows nothing when it comes to who to give skins to. they do it solely based off what they think will sell and since a sol not popular they dont want to give him one. He doesnt have much lane bully potential but he has killer roams and his teamfight is pretty spectacular. He's meant to be a good midlaner for an adc peel comp imo, like you build a kogmaw/ twitch/ trist comp with a sol mid. He's got good peel for teamfights, but isnt much of the lane bully that you are able to see more clearly

Is he bad or is he just not played much? People who play him a lot are great at him and probably have a high win rate but other trying him probably fail and pull the win rate down. But many don't find him fun because he had a seemingly passive play style. He's a mage with damage over time, while the cool mages pop you in an instant.

Plus the skins things is an issue, if they want people to notice him they need to make a cool skin but if people don't play him why make a skin that won't sell?

Of course if play rates/popularity really was a thing, Vayne wouldn't have only got 1 skin in 2 years (the other skin was locked behind the hextech stuff), she has a constant 15%+ popularity, she should be getting 3 skins a year like Jhin.

The top asol main in the world has a 58 percent win rate over 1.2k games.

He's not bad, most people just suck.
