Could qiyana function as a gyroscope?

Hypothetically, if say, heimerdinger got fed up with leagues newest champ, designed a rocket to launch her into space, and then midway through the flight she realized he wasn't actually going to grant her the position of empress of the moon, would she be able to correct her course back to earth? She seems to have pretty good control of its motion and spins it effectively. Is she able to hold a position while rotating fast enough to replace the ships gyroscope and fly back to enact her revenge? (image for reference on what she would need to do for steering)

these "I hate qiyana" posts are getting really annoying

EDIT: sorry knee jerk reaction. actually fairly funny post. I think it could work

Nah, this is a like-post. Assassin's needed a rocket-ready champ. Mages have heimer (and I guess vel for extra knowledge), adcs have trist, tanks have urf alistar (who hits q until you're in orbit), and now with gyriyana were really just missing out on enchanters (maybe Janna because of wind control?) and bruisers.

Edit: I somehow forgot corki and aurelion sol, two very rocket reqdy champs. Still no bruisers/supps, but definitely worth the honorable mention.

You also forgot Galio smh. Literally takes off like a rocket and sends you into orbit.

I think galio is limited by his jump capacity and weight. He's already jumping to his apex and not leaving orbit, and he can't jump again once up there. Might be a good launch platform though, to get through thicker parts of the atmosphere.

Also comes down to workability of his wings I guess. I view him as an ostrich-like flightless status, but that wasn't true for old galio, so I may very well be wrong there.

I don't know why such a question is making me question the ballistic capabilities of half of the roster now.

Honestly, I bet Singed has great ballistic capabilities due to the compressed gas on his back.

True

You know how god king Garen spins 2 swords around with his e? What if you shaped his swords like propeller blades? Could he fly? :)

That skin might be lift capable, definitely worth considering for in-atmosphere propulsion
