All the references, the nine circles of hell, the dark, glowing effects on his E and R, his pose in his W.. Everything about it seems so good, I'm genuinely surprised that Riot actually made it that good! I never thought it had that much potential to begin with
Being objective... is not.
Sure, its better than the old one... it has a new VO that is cool, good particle effects and a new recall... but if we compare him with any "new" Legendary skin: Gatekeeper Galio is bad.
Many skins have new recalls and particles, which means that having that its not a big deal (more if we consider that all the champions have recalls now)... In other hand, most of the new legendary skins have a new VO. However, the diference between Gatekeeper Galio and other "New" Legendary Skins is that the other Legendary skins actually have new animations in everything.
So, in terms of content, even if Gatekeeper Galio is way better than his old version, he is not comparable with other legendary skins like Omega Squad Teemo or Mecha Sion... and lets not even talk about Ultimate skins.
... Also... if we talk about References in the VO, Final Boss Veigar is the king.
Nah. It's just the flavor of the month. Now everyone says it's the best skin ever; one month from now everyone will have moved on to another skin that will be considered the best skin ever etc. That's how Rito makes so much money.
Overall it definetly became a really good skin in my opinion,though I wouldn't say it is the best,because after all it does lack some unique animations that are standard for legendary skins and I don't like the look of him that much(Though I don't dislike his design either)
I think it matches the similar colors and designs of the recent Warring Kingdom skins. Everyone heavily anticipated them and it still looks beautiful. All time though would still be Elementalist Lux because it is ten in one.
Nope. Draven Draven still the best.
Not gonna lie, I prefer all of Galio's other skins over Gatekeeper. Just not my taste I guess. His base skin is my favorite, with Hextech second :)
