The Shurima event gave us next to nothing on the actual motivations back stories and personalities of these champs.
So let's hear it. Bonus points if you can salvage Skarner, the Lost and Forgotten Champion with any of his previous anything.
I am very open minded about the changes riot are making with the lore, but finishing the shurima event without any updates to the champion's lore, leaving them that bare, was incredibly disappointing.
weren't we promised updates? how long on those? waiting on "Story" or "timing"?
i'm still upset over xerath's changes but now you have 9 - 10ish champions whose in-client lore is non-existent. and NOTHING on the website. the event is basically over so i don't understand what is holding you guys back from releasing content you should have finished BEFORE doing the blurbs.

Ezreal - his gauntlet was meant to be used by an ascended, so why can he use it? where did his latent sorcerer power come from? Maybe the ascended can have children, and Ezreal is one of them. We know Nasus, Renekton, and Azir (dont know if Xerath counts) are ascended, but there could have been others - especially if they can live as long as Nasus and Renekton apparently have.
So the ending of the Shurima event has Shurima "brought back from the dead" right? As in, Azir's ascension caused much of Shurima to be "restored". Now pointing out the fact that we don't actually know what that means (other than what we saw at the ending of part 2 of the Shurima video), I think we can somewhat figure out what happened to Rammus and Amumu.
First I would say that 
Amumu was brought back from the dead as a part of the Ascension ritual, possibly because he was from Shurima as well. As for 
rammus, he was probably blasted/exposed to some of the Ascension energy and thus became sentient. Or maybe he was Azir's pet armadillo once and Ascension supercharged him as well( I hope someone gets the Gurren Lagann reference :P). Can't say much about Ez or Skarner though. I still hope Skarner and his people still are a part of the story somehow. Skarner had a nice Beta Ray Bill story going for him

Im fine with the new lores, I would just like some more information! I mean, who even is Skarner now? Does he serve Shurima or what? Whats his deal? And what about Rammus? Who is he now? Its mainly these two I need an explanation for.
Man, I was so excited to see my main champions and get new lore. When the short lores came out, someone at Riot said they were gonna put the new lores on the website. Well the Shurima event has passed and almost nothing happened with their stories. Not seeing any further update on many of the Shurima champions was a huge disappointment. Those lore updates better come soon.
During the Azir Q&A, a rioter said that Azir didnt know Amumu was around yet - which to me seemed to hit he eventually would learn of his existence, and possibly recognize him as well.
