I guess that the project champs are roughly as strong as the regular ones. I mean there is nothing that implies that they are stronger than their original counterparts.
I think they arent suposed to be stronger, they are supposed to be androids, so intead of being a 1000 year old corpses they get to still be alive, and kick ass, since so much time passes they need a little help from technologgy to be able to keep kicking asses like before

could kill fiora with a single shot in her head since she doesnt wear a helmet
her gun is way more destructive than the laser pistols of Lucian
