I'm not looking foward to the Urgot rework and the reason.

Recently a rioter confirmed that Urgot was in the process of getting a rework and while I ordinarily would be hyped over the fact that Urgot was getting a much needed touch up I have my doubts about the actual delivery of said touch up. Sion's was nothing short of amazing. Here's a link for those who haven't seen it.

However, the lore is stagnant and there's almost no effort put forth into story telling or conveying characters anymore (it pains me to say it). I got far more out of this promo than any of the other Champion releases to date and I sincerely doubt the Riot will be able to deliver quality like this for a long time. We'll probably get something slapped together and a fancy video detailing Urgot being awesome but it won't do much for the sake of expanding upon the character.

Ekko looks awesome and holds potential but I absolutely refuse to hold my breath for anything again. It's still going to be a three sentence background and I still doubt we're ever going to know much more about him than whatever vagueness they want to put up.

TLDR: Disappointed because Urgot won't match Sion in quality. Writing will be poor and underdeveloped. Not holding my breath for it.
